The test of time

 When I was 16 the only thing I was interested in was girls

When I was 30 I was interested in the career I started on and the start of our family.

When I was 60 I was looking forward to retirement and grandchildren.

Now that I'm 80 I'm most interested in my health.  

There are two things that have prompted this walk down memory lane. One is my need for cataract surgery and the other is my need to plan for the possibility of kidney dialysis.  I'm not quite there yet but it's damn close so it's prudent to plan and not be caught off guard.

And life marches on.
